What should I expect after a facial?

A vajacial treats ingrown hairs, removes dead skin cells, smooths bumps around bikini line, prevents acne, helps with hyperpigmentation, all to maintain healthy and hydrated skin in the vaginal area. This service includes a double cleanse, light exfoliation, ingrown hair treatment and extractions, if necessary, a hydro jelly mask, and finished with a post-wax emulsion.

What should I expect after a facial?

After a facial, your skin will probably be soft, smooth and well hydrated. If multiple extractions were needed or if you required a fair amount of exfoliation, your face may be somewhat rosy for one to two hours or more, depending on how sensitive your skin is. This is quite normal. Breakouts rarely occur unless your skin is congested with blackheads or whiteheads underneath the surface. If this is the circumstance, you might experience some breakouts, but be assured they won’t last for long. We will discuss proper home care to follow.

Short answer, yes there is discomfort. When waxing, we are removing hair from the root. To ease this discomfort, you can take ibuprofen or apply a topical numbing cream 30-45 minutes prior to your appointment time.
